Year a Glance → What are we learning this year?

Hey! My name is Will Anderson, and I’m so excited to be a
Chapa Cougar this Year! Before I share more about my role as a
teacher, I’d love to introduce myself. I studied Kinesiology and
Health Education at the University of Texas at Austin, earned
my bachelor's degree in Medical Anthropology and Global
Health from the University of Washington, and later completed
my Master’s in Educational Leadership at Schreiner University.

Outside of the classroom, I’m passionate about living an active
and balanced life. I was a collegiate track and field athlete and
pole vaulter, and I still enjoy running, climbing, and skiing
whenever I can. I also love spending time with family and
friends and getting lost in a good book.

Who am I?

My Teaching Career

This is my third year at Chapa Middle
School, and I’m thrilled to be teaching
8th grade science this year! I previously
taught 6th grade science and also coach
football and track at both Chapa MS and
Lehman High School. I’m passionate
about making learning hands-on,
engaging, and fun for all students. I love
being part of the Chapa community and
enjoy attending school events and staying
involved wherever I can. #CougarPride
